Job Description:

• Responsible for leading this new department, drive new investment business across HK and other geographic locations within the group.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and oversee the overall securities operations in Hong Kong;
• Responsible for developing investment advisory and trading business on equity and its derivatives products;
• Develop the CCASS, nominees,custody, settlement system for shares listed in Hong Kong and overseas markets;
• Take up the role as Responsible Officer to supervise the regulated activities (Type 1 & 4) as defined under SFC;
• Provide advice and support to enior management team on strategic activities, daily operations,compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and applicable laws as well as risk management;
• Responsible for drafting policies, procedures manual and system implementation;
• Participate in the relevant management committees;
• Undertake any ac hoc projects when instructed.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Degree Holder in Finance,Economics or related discipline;
• At least 10 years in securities trading with hands experience in settlement and custody;
• Good knowledge with hands on experience about Hong Kong securities market, licensing, rules and regulations in relation to securities trading activities;
• Competency requirement to carry out relevant regulated activities (Type 1 & 4) as defined under the Securities and Future Ordinance;
• Excellent interpersonal,presentation and communication skills;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua is a must).
